The Tour:
Discover the arid and ancient landscape of Namibia, its geology and its flora. Then enjoy a cold drink at Goanikontes Oasis before heading towards the old colonial town of Swakopmund.

Itinerary:
After meeting you at the cruise ship terminal and a quick briefing, you will e whisked away for a wonderful day out and about.
The first stop will be at the Walvis Bay lagoon to view the thousands of greater and lesser flamingo who calls this their home.
Then its over to Dune 7, its the highest dune in the Walvis Bay district at approx 130 meters tall. Kick off your shoes and see how high you can climb up and enjoy the view from the top!
Next we drive for approx. 30mins to reach the welwitschia plains, its a area that is littered with these ancient plants and your guide will give you all the necessary info on this plant that you may need.
After a photo stop, you will be taken to Goanikontes Oasis where you will have some time to relax with a cold drink under the shade of palm trees( drinks at own cost).
From the oasis we head towards the old colonials town of Swakopmund, where you have some free time to wander the streets in search of that perfect gift, or just to absorb the local culture.
From here we take the coastal road back to your cruise ship to conclude your day.
Your guide will co ordinate stopping times as the day progresses and will allow for ample stops to stretch legs and take photos.
Please note that we only supply bottled water for this tour, so pack something light to eat,or you could have something to eat at the oasis or in Swakopmund
